Paper Accepted at SIGIR 2022

We are pleased to announce that the paper titled “Biographical: A Semi-Supervised Relation Extraction Dataset” by Alistair Plum, Tharindu Ranasinghe, Spencer Jones, Constantin Orasan and Ruslan Mitkov has been accepted into the 45th International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR 2022). With the paper the authors release the first and the largest dataset for biographical RE built in a semi-supervised manner with ten relationship categories. This is a joint work with the History, Politics and War Studies Department at the University of Wolverhampton and the RIGHT lab.
